Purchase a Race Number

As with most sports, each race team is assigned a race number. Numbers 1 through 10 are reserved, and are assigned through a drawing of team entries accepted between January 15th and February 15th.

Some Teams are fond of a particular number, and choose to purchase it for a particular race year. If this is you, there is a spot on the Team Registration form to indicate your choice and pay the associated fee of $125.00 - or you can pre-pay via the online purchase form. Requests are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. It is not uncommon for multiple Teams to request the same race number. Refunds will be considered if the requested number is not assigned to you and no other number can be agreed upon.

Some racers reserve their race number for 5 years with a donation to the ARC Endowment fund. Five-year race numbers may be reserved for a fee of $500.00 for a first-time purchase or $650.00 for a first-time renewal. Numbers may be purchased only by individual racers, not by corporate entities or nonprofits, and are nontransferrable; if purchaser chooses not to race, the number will not be used that year. There is a spot on the Team Registration form to indicate your choice and pay the associated fee, or you can use the online purchase form.
