Introducing Start and Terminus for ARC 2021

Two Great Airports - LAL and HUF

The Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL) will host the Start of ARC 2021. Lakeland Linder International Airport, most widely known as the home of Sun 'n Fun Aerospace Expo, is one of the most dynamic and diversified airports in the country, from flight training to fighter jets. Currently over 85 businesses call LAL home including the world-famous NOAA Hurricane Hunters, Department of Defense Contractor Draken International, Amazon Air, and local flight schools training the next generation of pilots. Located in the heart of Florida along the I-4 corridor Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL) is midway between Tampa and Orlando with easy access to I-4 via the Polk Parkway. A short distance away is the world famous Jack Brown's Seaplane Base and the family theme park of Legoland in Winter Haven. An hours drive away is the entertainment complex of Disney, Universal Studios and Sea World. For further information about the Start event, watch for postings later this year on the Air Race Classic website https://www.airraceclassic.org/event-start.htm.

The Terre Haute Regional Airport, Hulman Field (HUF) will host the Terminus for ARC 2021. The airport is situated in the Wabash Valley of Indiana - the heart of the Midwest.  Often noted as the third busiest airport in the state, the airport is home to general aviation, military operations, and Indiana State University Flight Academy. They are home to the Terre Haute Air Show, hosting the USAF Thunderbirds and the US Navy Blue Angels, among many civilian acts, as well as hosting many NIFA Regional and National Competitions. Terre Haute is a community revitalized with new downtown development, growing tourism assets, nationally-recognized facilities, and four higher education institutions, including Indiana State University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. For further information about the Terminus event, watch for postings later this year on the Air Race Classic website https://www.airraceclassic.org/event-terminus.htm.
