Calling all racers, past and present! The ARC wants to share your stories!

Did you fly the Powder Puff Derby? The AWTAR? The ARC? The Air Race Classic wants to share your stories through two new social media campaigns to expand general aviation’s knowledge of the ARC and women’s contributions to aviation.

Meet the Racer Mondays will feature past and present racers. If you would like to participate, please send a brief description of why you started flying, what made you get involved with racing, something fun/interesting you learned while racing and where you are at now with flying (ratings, where you fly for fun, aircraft owned or career).

Influential Women Wednesdays will profile women who have made significant contributions to aviation and to promoting women in the field. We will feature historical figures like Louise Thaden, but we would like women who are currently flying as well. If you know of an influential woman in aviation, please send us a description of who she is (or was), what type of flying she has done, her connection to the ARC, if any, and what her significant contribution was/is.
