2021 ARC Air Derby Rules Released!
Last month, the Air Race Classic announced the upcoming 2021 ARC Air Derby. The ARC Air Derby will provide an
opportunity for women pilots around the world to challenge their piloting, flight planning and navigation skills and share
their love of flying with other women pilots in a fun event that avoids large gatherings and supports recommended
health safety protocols.
The Air Derby will be a one-day, VFR event, open to all types and categories of aircraft that meet the qualifications in the
rules. Routes may be designed and flown in the U.S. as well as other countries. Registration will be limited to 99 teams.
Registration opens March 15! Look for upcoming announcements with more details.
Matching Grant Awarded!
The Air Race Classic is honored to be a recipient of a $25,000 matching grant from the Ray Foundation. The Ray Foundation, Inc. supports educational organizations whose programs develop life skills such as self-discipline, self-confidence and ownership of one’s own decisions. The skills that are developed during flight training can enable students to achieve success throughout their life. The Air Race Classic is proud to partner with the Ray Foundation in continuing to educate and encourage current and future women pilots, while preserving and promoting the tradition of pioneering
women started over 90 years ago. Your donation can have a double impact as you help us meet our goal.
Does your employer match employee donations? A $50 employee donation becomes $100 when your employer matches it, then becomes $200 when it is matched again by this grant!
