2008 Race Information
The Air Race Classic departed Bozeman, MT, Tuesday morning, June 24th. Thirty-three teams started their race east to Mansfield, MA. Linda Marshall, the Start Chair, and all her great Start Volunteers, the Bozeman Tower Air Traffic Controllers, the FAA and local residents gave the Classic Racers a great send off on their journey east! All Race Checkpoints and the Terminus have been notified to be ready for their flybys and arrivals.
Wednesday, June 25th the teams checked their weather and flew on to their choices for the second day of air racing. Winds and weather were favorable for all the teams to flyby further or land for the evening at Decatur, IL.

Race Route
NOTE: We will not be posting any daily results or standings during the race. The ARC 2008 Results will be posted after they are announced to the Classic Racers, and their guests, at the Terminus Banquet on Sunday evening. This is due to the handicap nature of this race, with the last team to finish having just as much chance to win as the first finisher. We will attempt to update the public here, as timely as possible, on the Classic teams locations each evening. This is dependent on when our ARC Volunteers have the information and time available.
